[R-390] T502 caps and Diode Load -VDC

Larry,

The RF voltage on V506 pins 5&6 is 4.8VAC on my HP427A. The RF 
millivoltmeter will not measure that high.

For about 3 days now I've had this RX running with input to the IF 
section only and the gain has been holding just fine. After about a 
minute and a half, I have the Moto SM set to about 10mV and I'm getting 
50 on the carrier meter, 540mVAC at the grid of V504 and -10.5V at the 
diode load. I haven't measured the choke yet. That's as solid as I've 
seen it operate, it must have been my messing around with the slug in 
T504 and soldering in a new 200pf SM in place of that square mica for 
the bottom core section.

I'm thinking about going through and measuring all the grid pins in MGC 
with some reasonable input to J513 so I can compare it to the other IF 
module. I think there's something wrong with the other module, other 
than the rebuilt filters which all have different gains. It's too bad 
there's no easy fix for replacing these filters.
