After many hard lessons I've learned to corral  the little buggers.I keep a bunch of small plastic cups on the bench, some with lids...EVERY screw, nut or washer that is removed goes directly into a cup......If they are to remain for some time, a lid goes on and a label is prepared.....This is not as much fun as crawling around under the bench......JimSent from my Galaxy Tab® A

Tiny screws and lock rings have a way of meandering all over the shop, never to be found. There is nothing that warms the heart so, as gazing at your dog, who is sleeping on the couch, mentioning his name, and hearing thud-thud-thud as his tail hits the cushions. On Jul 16, 2019, at 13:38, Barry <n4buq at knology.net<mailto:n4buq at knology.net>> wrote:Isn't there an axiom that says if an R390A is taken apart, then parts are already lost? Thanks,Barry - N4BUQ----- Original Message -----From: "dog" <agfa at hughes.net<mailto:agfa at hughes.net>>To: r-390 at mailman.qth.net<mailto:r-390 at mailman.qth.net>Sent: Tuesday, July 16, 2019 12:46:03 PMSubject: [R-390] Procedure for setting T401Since the voltage on E209 is so hot in my 390A (-30VCD), I've beenlooking for a procedure to set T401. I don't seem to be able to findanything. Any ideas? I thought maybe I'd stick a high Z probe in E209and look at it on the spectrum analyzer and set it for the best 17MHzsignal. Don't know if there's any harmonics or glitches that are makingit so high but maybe the SA would tell me something. I haven't looked atmy other 390A, it's all apart right now, I should start putting it backtogether before I start loosing parts.______________________________________________________________R-390 mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/r-390Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:R-390 at mailman.qth.netThis list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netPlease help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html______________________________________________________________R-390 mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/r-390Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:R-390 at mailman.qth.netThis list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netPlease help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html______________________________________________________________R-390 mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/r-390Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:R-390 at mailman.qth.netThis list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netPlease help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
