[R-390] WWV shut down. Alternate calibration methods

Just how does NIST expect that shutting down WWV will not have a serious
effect on the measurement of time? Any other time signal is fraught with
failure, especially if it is internet based.
The internet will be the first major "failure" in the event of gummite run
amuck.

Subject: [R-390] WWV shut down. Alternate calibration methods

I just read that the NIST has an item in the 2019 budget to shut down 'NIST
radio stations in Colorado and Hawaii'. I assume this is WWV and WWVH.
Here's a link to the NIST budget:

If they do go away, how can I calibrate my equipment? I only know using
WWV.

Regards, Larry
