In Service Notes: O-140B to RDZ, there are some sixty odd mentions of the
R-390 (including the A model) operating, installing and service notes, some
of which I have not seen published elsewhere in official Navy
publications.  For example, there is a chart listing all the R-390A tuning
rack core part numbers, associated transformers and coils and their color
codes.  That's on page 60 of 128 of the pdf document.

I have yet to explore the other documents - there may be other useful R-390
tidbits waiting to be discovered.
