[R-390] BUREAUOCRACY... at its best !

A few  days  ago...  I asked the list re   circlips  for the  gear train
on the R-390A.... Roy  and  Ben were kind  enough to  assist  and Roy
suggested
Mc Master-Carr . I placed  an order for  several type/sizes and  just got
the  following.."....

international orders only from our established customers. This decision
also applies to orders shipping within the United States, because it is
based on the final destination of the items. We cannot accept this order or
future orders.

International trade seems to have  requirements  with CIA  approval
perhaps ?  I can't  believe I'm reading that reply..
Management there must be well on the  way to going blind  !
