Yeah, Don is a pretty good list moderator. We keep voting him into office.
Sorry, but I find your remarks insulting to quite a few members who are
very knowledgeable by their own rights.
This list has been around a long time. A group of new guys joined and
decided they were going to bitch in harmony about our list. What is
ironic to me is that these same new members who created a firestorm of
protest to any post that wasn't 100% about either solder, caps, or tubes
are the exact same ones who sing the praises of Nolan Lee like they
actually knew him or were around when he was a member. These are the
very ones who would have wanted to lynch him for being off topic, and
they are the ones who gutted the list membership and it almost died. We
would go for weeks without a single post. Put a lid on the crap about
Dr. Jerry too. He is just Jerry to the rest of us who knew him.
Oh, and another thing.......uh, nevermind.
