[R-390] Curious about serial number...

Good evening, folks:

I am getting a R-390A ready to sell.  I am pretty much a newbie, this will be my first one.

Question:  The serial number plate indicates an EAC radio, order number 23137-PC-60, serial number 240.

1. Is there a website out there that documents orders, serial numbers, etc?
2. Seems to me that serial 240 would be a rather old unit.  Can anyone verify this?
