Look harder. I have pin punches down to 0.5 mm (~0.02", or
1/50"). You are looking for watch or camera tools, not standard
machinist's tools.

Pins are made to come out (by pressing, not by hammering), and if you
slow down a minute and approach the task rationally, you will be able
to figure out how to remove them without drilling or other ham-handed
foolery. If they are solid, they may be taper pins (i.e., they come
out only one way). If they are roll pins, they should come out
either way (they often have a distinct bevel on one end for starting,
which would tell you which way they were inserted -- but some are
beveled on both ends).

Best regards,

Charles
