I recently invented that one independantly, I was replacing the bearings in
some fans that were held together with a miniscule snapring and (after
chasing a washer across the floor) concluded that I would have fewer lost
parts if I did the disassembly in the lid off a Xerox printer paper box.

I will do that with many things after this.
