Now where did the idea that I made any reference to physics, or that 
they would be different in China.

It so happens that the quality and chemical make-up of steel has a 
significant impact on saturation, magnetic fields, and such.

The Chinese will not use a grade of steel in a super cheap line 
transformer sold to Radio Shack, than they would put in their own 
transformers.

The Japanese didn't either in the '50s and '60s.

This seems to escape some.

Keep that in mind when spouting misinformation on efficiency without the 
knowledge of the composition of the core material.

Apparently some do not know about widely varied steel compositions.
