[R-390] High Electrical hash noise level

Steve, Et al,

I guess I got lucky, AND short changed. The wife and I bought this
house in the Fall of 1988.

It met ALL the needs we had, and it met *MY* desires. This area has NO
covenants, BUT it has NO natural gas.

I'd love to put in gas heat and a gas stove. BUT, there is NO gas lines
in this area. I'd have to get a petition out, and signed by some
ridiculous number of owners. They, and I, would ALL have to agree to
tie in to the line, and pay for that.

It is a "Total Electric" area subdivision that was built beginning in
1979. My power panel has a sign-off date showing July 1979.

We are the second owner.

I get other interference. It got insane for a bit with a cross the
street neighbor that purchased several LARGE Plasma Screen TVs. They
are now gone!

Then again, our City of Manassas, VA, got to be guinea pigs for several
renditions of the *Notorious* BPL roll outs. We had to document
everything, almost in blood, BEFORE we could get the FCC involved.
Numerous of the Amateur community recorded the "garbage", and a team of
three or four used their mobile "riceboxes" with spectrum displays and
video recorders, to make the real HARD case against it.

Kudos to THAT team!
