During my "employ" of Uncle Sam, I attended a 52 week course. The first
26 weeks were ALL academic, and VERY intense. I remember coming home
one afternoon, walking through the apartment where we were living, going
out the back door, throwing everything in the air and screaming "F$@# It
All!".
That 26 weeks translated into 30 semester hours of college credit - once
"they" FINALLY de-classified the details of the course of instruction.
It FINALLY got included in the ACE catalog.
No one attempted suicide, but the stress level was VERY high! The
washout rate was ALSO high.
