[R-390] Why?

LOL, that's funny;
"... I remember one girl in ground radio who got stationed at Myrtle Beach
and another girl in the basic electronics portion who asked "why?" regarding
everything. After an explanation of the fact that a capacitor stores a
charge or how a transistor works... "Why?" Really exasperated the
instructor! "It just does!" "Yeah, but, why?...""

I asked those questions and the punishment was electrical engineering
school. After 4 years of learning exactly how many electrons it to do this
or that. I remember knowing, and being good with ohm's law well before
college. Reading through the syllabus at the start of a college semester and
seeing that we had in one class, two weeks devoted to ohm's law. Thinking it
was going to be a breeze, then the torture of learning every possible
iteration of ohm's law and about two dozen "why" answers.
.....
the orange electrical extension cord hanging out of the third floor window
would make sense. Maybe they tried to do themselves in and jumped out of the
window, the plug at the end of the extension cord, that was plugged into
another extension cord, unplugged on the way down.
