[R-390] First radio thread

A lot of (most, all?) old radios have lost that radio version of the "new car smell". I don't know of anything today that comes close to, or has as much nostalgia, as that first whiff of a newly opened Heathkit box.  Someone should have bottled that aroma :-)

My first radio?  Ocean Hopper.
