When I purchased a couple R390-A receivers from DRMO, Honolulu, the
receivers were taged, not sprayed, SECRET when being utilized. The BFO's
were replaced with ten-turn pots and marked with marks onthe chassis for
common stop points. DRMO personnel shredded the manuals because they had
not clue that the operating frequencies were classifed not the books.
Reminds me of the dunces that worked at Jim Creek and destroyed so m any
radios due to slight meter needle isotopes. My radios came with meters, as
I pulled the tags off the radios before someone noticed the warning.

YMMV
