Likely the receiver was assembled in Sep or Oct 1954. Not a plastic cap in 
sight. All the ground points in the IF and RF deck are soldered direct to 
tabs punched into the chassis metal. No bolted on ground lugs.

The receiver has the original dial glass in it. The leads to the dial 
lights have never been broken off and resoldered. The power supply and audio 
decks are original. I do not see any evidence that any part under any of the 
decks have ever been replaced. The anti fungus varnish is still virgin on all 
the solder joints.
