[R-390] HP spectrum analyzer question

Hi,
I would like to obtain an HP spectrum analyzer to use on my R-390A and R-390, plus whatever other 
ancient boatanchor devices come to my workbench in the future.
Trouble is, unlike the choice for a generator (8640B), there are too many HP Spectrum analyzers
on the E-place for me to pick from. 
I can eliminate most just by the frequency spread, but am missing the knowledge and experience 
as to which HP might be a relatively trouble-free design. 
What do you like?
