If it was adaptable to 80M AM or even 160M AM I think he could
eventually find a ham buyer.
But it's not at all obvious how to adapt the RF section to 80M or 160M.
A few parts would be usable but it wouldn't look anything like the original.
I would thnk there would be some sort of really big-capacitance and
big-inductance parts in the antenna coupler, but I'm not sure I
see an antenna coupler as part of the unit.
The only obvious buyer is someone who has an aircraft carrier
he wants to restore.
I see a lot of big rheostats but I don't see anything that
looks like a power supply or modulation transformer... what sort
of power supply is available on an Aircraft Carrier? Do you
just plug this into the 2000VDC jack on the wall of the shack?
