As one tired old sysadmin to another.  What about those poor souls who
had to recontstruct colossus from vague anecdotes, ilicit photos, and
scattered footprints at Bletchley Park?

Speaking of sysadmins and retro addictions...

I was amused and amazed to be chastised recently for taking pictures with a
30 year old Minolta SLR and then lectured on the instant gratification that
can be had from a digital camera.  My reply to them is that I do modern
technology for a living, I sure as H___ do not have to do it for recreation.
