Well, I made lotsa purchases between 1970 and 1995 that, in view of
current prices, were remarkably prescient.
To my great delight, one of the employees working for me when I was
in Roseville, CA, (1990-1994) was an R-390 tech in the Army from the
same time period of my service and he had brought home a very nice
R-390 (Collins, of course) and lotsa parts that he wanted to sell.
He also did a lot of repair work for me at that time and was very,
very good even with minimal access to electronic equipment (a lot of
which was accessed through the courtesy of the communication
technician in our office).
