The Hakkos are nice, I use one at work. You've GOT to keep it clean, don't let the tip clog. We have a wire 
cleaning tool that you run down through the tip every so often, I do it frequently. Very frequently. When it 
sucked poorly, I found I had to take the pump diaphragms out (easy to do) and clean the accumulated flux 
off with alchohol. It really sucked after that! :)  You also need to loosen the tip up now and then, or it will 
become one with the heater. Wish I had one at home, but a bit pricey for me.
