[R-390] RF gain

Hi all,

I am not a tech, but I can make an adjustment if needed.  I have 
an R390A which is working fair.  I noticed that the RF gain is
only audible between 7 and 10  when I turn the knob.  I would
like to be able to hear it more at both ends i.e.1 to 7 and more 
gain at 10.  I am thinking it needs an internal adjustment.  Anyone
know the procedure I would have to make for this?
