That makes good sense.  Turns out, he was thinking of something else  
when he wrote that and does not actually have leaky ceramic caps. But  
I'm glad to hear what might cause them.

I have an SP-600 chassis here that is a flood victim.  Immersed for  
some time at least a a few inches deep.  I think that chassis is going  
to be a parts donor, but with enough work it might run again.  it has  
black tubulars in it though.
