Gee, sorry about the typo.... Yes, it is indeed a R-1981, not a 
R-1891... Gee, musta had too many 807s that night. 
 
Anyway, not only did I find out some info about the radio, but several 
VERY knowledgeable types here, figgered out what I meant. (since I 
didn't!!) 
 
I bought the radio as a 'parts unit' for my VERY mint '67 EAC. Now I 
don't know whether it's worth the small effort to make it correct.... 
 
HELP!!!
