[R-390] re: Boeing Surplus

Guys:

Up here in Seattle, we have a great resource of
affordable junk: called Boeing Surplus in Kent WA.
Computers, test equipment, tools, bulk copper and
aluminum: all for pennies on the dollar.

In the interest of "efficiency" Boeing decided to
close this retail outlet on Dec 21st and sell
everything thru an ePay entity. 

Too bad. Reminds me of all those neat places in NY and
SF in the 50's that we all got stuff from (even though
one of us were rich at the time).  Remember those
unused $15 ARC-5's in the box? 

Just wrote timothy.j.copes at boeing dot com
expressing my
displeasure. He is the the current administrator in
charge. The action was taken by his predecessor on her
way out the door.
