[R-390] Transmitter

Hi Dave,

I am not real well versed on the 390/URR or the 390A as far as the proper
transmitter is concerned.  I use my 390 with a BC-610 and a GE broadcast
transmitter.  I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you to the
world of boatanchors, it is a tremendous amount of fun!  The AM mode is
certainly alive and well and gaining in momentum each day.  Welcome aboard!

390] Transmitter


Hello to the group.  I am new here so please bear with.  I am aware that
this the R-390 mail and I am wondering if this includes the R-390A as well.
If it does then here goes.  Is there a prefered transmitter for this
receiver?  I am aware that it was not build with a specific transmitter in
mind or rather a matched set.  Just getting into the old BA radios and
curious about the transmitter side of this receiver.  Thanks in acvance for
any post /mail on this topic.              Dave w6dke
