[R-390] Transmitter

Hello to the group.  I am new here so please bear with.  I am aware that this the R-390 mail and I am wondering if this includes the R-390A as well.  If it does then here goes.  Is there a prefered transmitter for this receiver?  I am aware that it was not build with a specific transmitter in mind or rather a matched set.  Just getting into the old BA radios and curious about the transmitter side of this receiver.  Thanks in acvance for any post /mail on this topic.              Dave w6dke
