[R-390] Fowler Industries R-390A Past the $8000 mark and rising

I happened on a well used 1960 Fender Champ Tweed guitar amplifier a couple of years ago in a local sale.  Needed a new on/off switch (the kind that's piggy-backed on the volume control).  Couldn't fix the original but found a very-nearly-exact replacement from TubesAndMore (only difference was a longer shaft that the hacksaw and a file took care of).  These things go for mucho bucks and, like the guitars, the worse shape, the more it brings.  Unfortunately, the speaker in this one has been replaced with a RadioShack model.  I'm sure that'll affect the final price, but maybe not too much.  Sure wish I had a good old Strat or Les Paul to play through it.
