Plug your radio into a circuit with a GFI (ground fault interruptor), like
the garage or utility room, and you will see why you need an isolation
transformer in those areas. The ground currents produced by the large AC
filter in the radio are enough to trip the interruptor.

What is all this nonsense about an isolation xformer, like I have said
before plug the the radio in and listen to it, I really think I could give
some of you guys a "rock" and you could creat a thread that could on for a
month..
W2DBO said that..
