Many thanks for your excellent reply and details on the way
the military used and serviced R-390 class receivers. That was
a lot of writing and a lot of time. It shows that the radios
are not just another receiver to you.

Bill,

I was taught in a class at Fort Devens Mass back in 1969. The class
was presented once every two weeks. As most classes were only one
week there were Two R390 class rooms. You did a week in one and then
a week in the other.
