Fellows,
I know we have painted this subject from edge to edge.
But I see a fellow over on the boat anchors need some help with one of his
anchors.
Will someone please send Gene the many secrets that you have all created to
deal with the problem on the face of the R390/URR and R390A/URR.
I know a process has been developed to get the whole job done.
Thank you to all

Gene's post to boatanchors follows
While in the process of restoring the cabinet on my National HFS I found
that after putting on the primer coat the engraved panel markings all but
disappeared! (DUH! They were filled with primer)
Is there a preferred method to restore the engravings? They are not very
deep into the metal and they are very small, so they are filled when it is
painted.
Re-scribing is not a good option for me as my 73 year old eyes and hands are
not what they used to be. . . .
Any help/suggestions will be appreciated!
Happy Holidays

Ok fellows, maybe I did not make myself clear about what I needed.
When I speak of "Engraving", I mean the marks, lines, slots, grooves or
whatever you want to call them that are on the panel.
These marks, lines, slots, grooves, etc. is what the what the white paint
goes into.
I know how to apply the white paint.
I want to know if there is a good method to make these marks, lines, slots,
grooves, etc. DEEPER so that when the panel is painted they do not get
filled completely with the primer and/or finish coat paint.
Whew!
