Oh, no!

This doesn't look good at all.

First thing, right off the bat,..... send your mother
flowers!

You owe her a nice dinner out just for this one
infraction.

Look at it like this:  You've sent a complete stranger
to her house to drop off an ugly, to her, monstrosity.
 More of YOUR junk.  And it's too heavy for her to
even move, much less play with, if she were so
inclined.

Don't tell her its military surplus, that may make it
worse.

Look at it this way:  What if you go over there to
pick it up and she has it all set up with the
appropriate companion T-368 transmitter and is working
a rare DX station on Fiji, through a hurricane?

What are you going to do then?  How will you explain
THAT to your friends?
