I do, too. One can quibble about his descriptions from time to time, and
the fact that he often "parts out" the stuff he sells -- by that I mean he
pulls filters and accessories and sells them all in separate auctions -- a
particular pet peeve of mine. I ignore anything that requires winning
multiple auctions to get a "complete" radio. But I suspect some of the
people who ended up feeling really cheated were those whose expectations
were over the top to begin with and who just got mad instead of dealing with
it. And there is certainly an undercurrent of resentment for anyone that
has a "business" of dealing in used radio gear -- they should be selling on
reflectors at far less than "eBay prices", or something along those lines
:-)
There was a local BA reseller around here that engendered a very bad
reputation in some circles. Some of the bad juju was undoubtedly justified.
My own dealings with him, and there were several, were always fine and above
board. I empathized with those who were (or felt they were) cheated in some
fashion, but I took care of what needed to be taken care of and never had a
problem.
