Group,

I've had an R-390A torn down for a couple of years now. It is one of
the St. J's survivors. It is NOW starting to go back together.

I read VERY carefully the exploits of Barry, along with Cecil's and
Roger's guidance and suggestions.

I KNOW I'm going to have some of these issues as the "Old Girl", a '51
Collins goes back together and gets tweaked. I USED to have a '67 EAC
on the operating position. It found a "new" home in exchange for a
Northern Radio Modded SP-600.

As to the "Elusive" BFO turns counter - I located one! It is STILL in
its ORIGINAL box, with all hardware AND paperwork!

Now I will have to look carefully at pictures and the manual as the "Old
Girl" goes back together!

I will say that baking the PTO, a Cosmos, DID bring the dessicant BACK
to blue! Alignment of it is ALSO going to be interesting!

Either Mr. Medley or Mr. Wilson will be hearing from me in the NEAR
future regarding the stainless cone washers and panel mounting screws!
