The bedside radio at our house is an old mono Pilot AM/FM tuner. Together
with the matching P-P 6L6 amplifier and a more modern appliance timer and
small speaker from Rat Shack, it wakes us up each day.
I have a Collins 51S-1 that I expect to overhaul and put in a nice wood
case, possibly a Marantz hifi cabinet. I hope to set it up in the
"library" for occasional SWL-ing. It may go atop the 1930's Atwater Kent
radio in it's lowboy cabinet (once THAT is overhauled and refinished.)
But most of the radios will be out in the barn in the "Radio Emporium", alas.
