[R-390] 12AX7's and Subs

GM list,

First of all if this subject winds up your pacemaker too much, remember this is a technical
question for our hobby, not a political statement.

I need about 20 12AX7's for my R-388's and other equipment.  Epay is crazy.  Is the Russian Double
Triode Tube 6N2P-EV a legitimate viable substitute?  What about the Svetlana 12AX7's sold by
Triode Electronics?

>From some past comments I'm passing on the Chinese tubes for now.

Some NOS 6N2P tubes on epay are cheap.  I'm not looking for exotica tubes.  Just the plane jane
tubes we used to get from Newark, Allied and others.

Anone with some long term experience??
