[R-390] HSN Status -- and a poll

If any of the issues are loose pages I have a scanner with a document
feeder.  I can scan about 15 pgs/minute to .pdf files and would be happy to
help.

Most of the old issues are hard-copy.  Many of the really old ones were
typewritten, not even word processed, so never existed in digital form.  The
easiest and most authentic looking result would be had through bit imaged
scans pulled into pdf or deja-vu files.  However, this limits the
compression that those file formats allow.  For maximum compactness and
highest resolution, the old issues would have to be OCR'ed.  That might be
necessary to keep bandwidth under control, not sure.
