[R-390] HSN Status -- and a poll

Hi
I'm the one that started the whole back issue thing. It was not part of
Barry's initial post. I threw it in because it would be of significant
value to me. I do not have a collection of the back issues. I don't
know what digital format the old issues exist in (if any). If it's
something like Quark or Pagemaker then turning them directly into pdf's
should be possible. If they are a "only exist in paper form" thing then
scanning them would be a bit of a pain. I more or less assumed they
still exist in digital form ....
I didn't elaborate on the idea but I was thinking that selling the back
issue images at something like 50 cents or a dollar a copy would make
sense. Keep the price low enough that it's way below the threshold of
pain but high enough to pay for the effort. You can't mail a print copy
for that kind of money so electronic distribution makes sense.
Take Care!
