Having known Dallas from earlier postings, I did not really take offense

ramblings.  I've gained from his experience in the past.  In particular, 
there is a page on my website that was added after some emails (both 
online and offline) regarding how to measure sensitivity of an R-390A 
receiver.  Dallas corrected me and taught me in this case.  I hate to 
see him get mad and leave for any reason.

I appreciate all those who stood up for me and Cecil, but I cringed at 
the tone of some of the emails that followed.  Yes, we will have some 
different opinions about R-390x receivers, but we are all here to 
learn.  I hope we can welcome the newcomers and relish the experience of 
the oldtimers as we go forward.  Over the past week, I'm not sure we've 
shown our best side.
