Well I for one would pretty strongly defend the guy who came up with
the solid state AGC mod I have in *all* of my R-390A radios. If he
wants to get a little excited from time to time he's earned the right
and then some.
I agree that this kind of thing can get out of hand. When it does then
yes that is a problem. I do not personally believe that we have quite
reached that point yet. I would *much* prefer a spirited, active list
with give and take discussion over a dead list mainly populated by
requests for the same items again and again. Without discussion we
learn nothing. I certainly will take a few more "before" pictures on IF
decks in the future.
