Similar grim scene witnessed at Dayton this year:

Visitor A:  "Hey, I just saw a bunch of (Pacific Rim persons) taking a 
BC-610 to pieces over there by the fence!  They had a whole lot of other 
things in pieces already."

Visitor B: "Really!  That must be the BC-610 I just sold 20  minutes 
ago!  Oh well, I got my price...."

Myself: "I wouldn't be surprised if the parts are already listed on e-Bay 
via satellite phone Internet hookup."

Sigh.
