To All,

I received the msg below last evening. I did not open it until after
receiving the msg from DavidBR549 about 11:15 PM. I also did not request any
password info.

There are nuts all over this world of ours. Don't know if any of you have
heard about the Popup scam here in Canada. A Popup appears and if you
attempt to delete it software is downloaded that allows another computer to
use your phone line to dial long distance. Now Ma Bell, (Bell Canada) in her
good conscience will bill your account with all these charges. Some
customers have bills up to $2000. Ma has threatened to remove service if
these bills are not paid. Radio talk shows have latched on to this and as a
result Bell has agreed to block the exchanges involved. There is talk about
a class action suit against Bell for not informing the public. This was/is a
gold mine for Bell. The story continues

Apparently these scams originate in the middle east with the knowledge and
support of the local governments. Another attempt at economic terrorism
which we are losing.
