[R-390] re:R-390a Ballast thread

Some of the stuff I've seen here reminds me of some HP engineers I saw
going through a cornfield maze carrying calculators, gps units and aerial
photos of the maze that appeared in the local paper. (this is a true
story)I've had three 150 ohm 5 watt resistors in parallel in my old
Motorola since about 1991 and it's run stable enough to do HF Fax into my
PC. Of course, I guess I'm not too demanding. Numbers and Specs are fine,
but Hey, how's it work?
