[R-390] Racal RA17L repairs

RA.17 UC?  I have several of the RA. 17 C12 which were Uh-Canadianized
units -- actually I think they were made in Canada in the first
place - -with some Canadian tubes -- which are the same as US tubes, only
... well nevermind.

Unfortunately, all but one was truly Canadianized -- by the military which
had yet another idea about de-mil-ing.  They clipped out all the tubular
caps (and a few others) in the process, apparently on the assumption they
contained PCB's.  I doubt if any of the missing caps had any PCB's.  Some of
the oil-filled components left on the units might have some.

I'm sure they meant well.  Look at it this way, the first half of the
recapping job is complete.

Maybe that "UC" means US/Can, or maybe it means Un-Canadian?

Seriously, though, there were apparently quite a few variants of the RA. 17.
