Why do all the really nifty radio listing usually have a description like
"I purchased this Radio at a estate Auction and do not know much about it "

Makes you wonder how much of the "good" stuff these estate
buyers are tossing out as junk!

An example - antenna rotors.

I've seen several rotor boxes, almost on a daily basis
offered up by estate buyers. I have asked several, most
insist that is the whole thing. I had a couple that actually
discussed the issue with me when I told them there was
another part other than the box. Most that understood
what I was talking about gave and answer similar to
"that old gray rusty thing, we threw that out because
we didn't know what it was"
