I worked in the Long Beach Naval Shipyard  for a while then at North Island
(San Diego). Equipment came in by the pallet load, was stripped down to the
'T' bone, rebuilt , then shipped back to the 'owners'. All they cared about
was the serial number on the tag matching their 'custody' cards....didn't
give a hoot about what was inside as long as it worked.
