[R-390] 8640B, SG 1112

Gentlemen:

At the risk of rehashing old ground, I would appreciate some input on several 
questions related to the above units.

1) Is there any significant difference between the commercial and military 
version of the 8640B?

2) Were there any major improvements over the life of the 8640B, and if so, 
what, and at what serial number were they instituted?
