#2 (what a nickname!) Non-Hauser -

Refresh my memory please - isn't this just the same knob used on the
S-40* and others? If so, they are pretty common. I gave a couple to a
fellow for an SX-62 last year. These had little chrome cones inside the
face of the knob, though. Do the 'B' (Non-A?) knobs have these, the
little trim ring around the edge, or are they completely black? Heh,
there ya go - S-38B Non-A!

I didn't hear anything back from any R-390-types attending Hosstraders
about having a surplus of gear clamps to bring along, so I'll take that
as a resounding 'nope'. I do have a couple more 'possible attendees',
though - Merle W1GZS frome Maine (a-yup) and Bruce MacLellan, who will
be attempting to make it up while visiting south of Beantown. The list
continues to grow.

Here's a link to the fairgrounds from I-89, scale is only a few miles:

Now, if we get as many R-390s to turn out for the 'fester, we'll be set.
Instead of a chicken in every pot, we'll have an R-390 in every trunk,
back seat, or pickup bed. That's what I call 'freedom and prosperity'!
