Naaaaah, VHF AM counts too! Let's talk about that more in person, I've
been wanting to exercise the Clegg gear but up where I am it's a lot
like relieving onesself into the wind since there is little activity
beyond the usual 2m CB stuff. Getting onto HF would be a good thing too,
though. Maybe ypu'll find some big iron there. I picked up a nice
Thordarson 500w mod transformer a few years back.

In the past we've just yelled on 146.445, which works pretty well. I
told Roy I'd give him a holler there, otherwise we'll meet up at the
sound trailer. If you're planning to be around the same area as you were
with the nice R-390A, we'll find you easily.

I had a TDQ given to me a couple weekends ago, so that seems covered.
Picked up a nice AN/GRR-5 set up two weeks before that. I'd like to find
a cabinet for my R-390A project and maybe a couple of meters. There's a
guy there who often has leftover National parts too, need to locate him
to see if he has the part Hank needs.

In the interest of R-390(*) appreciation, furthering the cause of Real
Radio, brotherly love, and all that, we will forego the usual games of
"Stone the First Person to call an R-390 a 'non A' " and "Pin the
Tail on the Ricebox owner". However, the usual Yaecomwood sacrifice is
expected to take place, weather and Gods permitting.

If anyone thinks to bring a good digital camera (I'll have mine, but
it's not so hot), we could get a shot for someone's page or perhaps to
send to ER. Of the group, I mean...
