Greetings,

I expect (hope) to be there at about 3:00 PM +/- ? with construction on
Rt.3 here in MA. For some reason, ever since the move to Hopkington, I
have always ended up down there at the corner by the track in the shadow of
the AM boys. I don't think my AM operation on 6M & 2M allows me to get up
there with them. I think until I go QRO on 75M, I'm still an outsider, but
I may say hello to them and thank them for keeping my R390A busy. If
someone wants to pick a simplex freq on 6, 2, or 440. I'll listen. There
will also be a temp. 900meg. repeater in operation at the flea. As
always, I'm happy to take home all of the green or gray BA's that won't be
allowed back in your home! :)

Okay guys, only two more days left until the big weekend (or tomorrow if
you wanna sit out in the field on Thursday waiting for the agtes to
open Friday). I've talked with a number of list members who have stated
that they will be present. Here's the list so far:

John Flood KB1FQG
Mike Crestohl W1RC
Roy Morgan K1LKY
Merle W1GZS
Alex AI2Q
John Kay KA1XC
me (Boomer) KA1KAQ

Possibles:
Bruce MacLellan
Carl Heuther KM1H (if there isn't a car meet the same weekend)

I suspect George Rancourt K1ANX will be there as well, he always is.
Haven't caught up with him yet though, so I won't speak for him
now. Dave Cain, W1DEC will likely be there. Spoke with Trevor, KD1YT, he
won't be attending this year due to a large 'honey do' list at home or
something along those lines.

Roy will be arriving in the afternoon sometime, I'm sure Mike will be
there by then. Something to do with birds eating worms, can't recall.
John Flood is arriving Friday sometime too, so is John Kay since he has
a wedding to attend Saturday. My plan is to arrive there by 6 Friday
evening, maybe a little sooner. I'll be bringing along my Racal RA-17UC
which has found a new home with Roy. I also have a beautiful Hammarlund
HQ-150 in need of a new owner, but I'm not going to haul it over without
knowing for sure it is sold. It's just too nice to risk banging up, and
I'm mainly going there to socialize and maybe find a few small parts
(famous last words).

Last time we all ended up meeting around John Flood's table, since he
seemed to be the only one selling and thereby, stationary. I have no
idea where you're planning to set up John, down on the corner of the
race track again? It's certainly easy enough to find, and very
convenient to the AM corral. Inquiring minds want to know.

Anyone else planning to attend? It's still not too late to commit (or be
commited?). Weather is looking good, mostly sunny Friday with highs near
60, Saturday chance of showers (not rain! just showers!) with highs in
the low 60s. It's the last real chance for some great radio fun and
socializing before winter arrives.
